YouTube Premium prices have increased in 13 countries, with some places seeing a rise of up to 50%

Reports from Reddit users indicate that the prices for individual and family YouTube Premium packages have significantly increased in 13 different countries. This is the latest price increase after many countries have experienced price hikes just a few months ago, including the United States last summer.
This price increase primarily focuses on the European market, with increases potentially reaching up to 50%, as seen in the case of Norway (42% for individual packages, 50% for family packages). The specific list is as follows:

Google, as usual, has sent an email notifying users about the price increase with very vague reasons such as allowing them to “continue providing great services and features” and “supporting the creators and artists you see on YouTube.”

Another interesting piece of information is that prices seem likely to rise even higher for those using the Premium package through Apple devices. A Reddit user in Sweden reported a massive price increase of up to 60% for the Family plan, while according to the price list, the increase is “only” about 46%, from 177 DKK to 259 DKK. This additional markup may be due to the revenue-sharing fee that Apple charges when users subscribe to the Premium plan through its system.

The general reaction is that most users in the topics mentioned are reporting the cancellation of their Premium subscriptions. “This price increase makes YouTube the most expensive streaming service, more than what I pay for Amazon Prime, Netflix, and HBO combined,” a Danish user said.
I wonder if Vietnam will experience price increases in the near future. What do you think about this price increase?
